Queen Creek Heat Sends Four Softball Teams to Arizona State Championship

Queen Creek, AZ – It’s a season to remember for Queen Creek Heat Little League Softball, as four of its All Star teams have officially qualified to compete in the 2025 Arizona Little League State Championship. This exciting news puts a spotlight on a program known for developing not just talented athletes, but strong character, teamwork, and community pride.

Representing District 14, which spans Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, and parts of Mesa, these four teams have earned their place among Arizona’s best through hard work, perseverance, and countless hours of practice—often under the blazing summer sun.

Founded in 2006, Queen Creek Heat has become a cornerstone of the local youth sports scene. Beyond trophies and titles, the program emphasizes personal growth, lasting friendships, and a deep love for the game. Coaches, families, and supporters have helped create an environment where young athletes can thrive on and off the field.

Now, the community gets to cheer them on as they hit the road—and the field—for their shot at the state title:


Minors (Ages 8–10)

State Tournament Begins: July 9 in Cottonwood, AZ
These young rising stars have shown grit all season and are ready to bring the heat to Cottonwood.


Jr. Majors (Ages 9–11)

State Tournament Begins: July 12 in Queen Creek at Desert Mountain Park
Hometown fans can catch all the action as the Jr. Majors host their state run right here in Queen Creek. Local support is expected to be loud and proud!


Majors (Ages 10–12)

State Tournament Begins: July 5 in Cottonwood, AZ
Having battled through a tough season, this squad heads north to compete with confidence and momentum.


Seniors (Ages 13–16)

State Tournament Begins: July 7 in Avondale, AZ
The most experienced of the four teams, the Seniors bring leadership and determination as they head west to Avondale.


From the Minors to the Seniors, these athletes represent the best of what Queen Creek Heat stands for—dedication, sportsmanship, and a fierce love for the game. The community is encouraged to attend games, share words of support, and follow their journeys through the championship tournament.

Let’s root for all four teams as they proudly represent Queen Creek on the state stage. Good luck, Heat! You’ve already made your hometown proud.
