Spring is in the air, and Easter is just around the corner! Families all over the East Valley are gearing up for a weekend full of egg hunts, Easter Bunny sightings, and festive activities. Whether you’re looking for a massive community egg hunt, a fun-filled farm experience, or a charming downtown celebration, there’s something for everyone. Check out these four fantastic Easter events happening near you!

The City of Apache Junction Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to its annual Easter Egg Hunt at Prospector Park on Saturday, April 19, 2025. With over 10,000 prize-filled eggs, this free event is a must for families looking to join in the Easter excitement. The egg hunt is divided into multiple age groups, from toddlers to adults, and those lucky enough to find a special token inside their egg will win extra prizes!

The first hunt begins at 9 AM for kids 2 and under, with each following age group taking the field immediately after. Beyond the hunt, attendees can enjoy games and activities hosted by local non-profits. Don’t forget to bring your Easter basket and camera—the Easter Bunny will be available for photos! The event will be held on the softball fields at Prospector Park (3015 N. Idaho Rd.), so plan to arrive early for parking.

Easter Egg-sperience at Vertuccio Farms – April 19

Looking for a farm-style Easter celebration? Vertuccio Farms is hosting its annual Easter Egg-sperience on Saturday, April 19, 2025, filled with family-friendly activities and fun. The event includes four age-specific egg hunts throughout the day, along with Easter crafts, a petting zoo, and unlimited play on the farm’s many attractions.

Egg hunts begin at 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM, so be sure to arrive 30 minutes early to park, check in, and get ready for the fun. Tickets must be purchased online in advance, as they sell out quickly. Parents can also book specific time slots and age groups when purchasing tickets, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Don’t forget your camera—the Easter Bunny will be available for photos!

Easter Eggstravaganza in Downtown Mesa – April 19, 10 AM-1 PM

Get ready for a fun-filled Easter celebration in Downtown Mesa! The Easter Eggstravaganza is happening on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM. This free event features an exciting Easter egg hunt, followed by photos with the Easter Bunny and plenty of family-friendly activities.

Kids can enjoy Easter crafts and games at the arts and crafts station before heading down Main Street’s bunny trail, where participating downtown businesses will be handing out eggs. Look for colorful balloons on storefronts to spot the egg-hunt locations! This is a great way to celebrate Easter while exploring all that Downtown Mesa has to offer.

Easter Egg-Citement at Schnepf Farms – April 19th, 8:30 AM-2 PM

For a full day of Easter fun, Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek is hosting its annual Easter Egg-Citement on Saturday, April 19th, 2025. Families can enjoy a traditional Easter egg hunt, a photo with the Easter Bunny, and hands-on activities like cookie decorating and carnival-style rides.

The event kicks off with check-in at 9 AM, followed by the first egg hunt at 10 AM for ages 0-2. As each group finishes, the next age bracket begins, ending with kids 9 and older. In addition to the hunt, kids can enjoy farm rides, a petting zoo, a ropes course, a roller coaster, and much more! Schnepf Farms offers a full day of adventure, making this event perfect for families looking to add some extra excitement to their Easter celebrations.
